Seven Days A Week

A Small Business Administration lender in Arizona has opened a full-service bank inside a Wal-Mart store. Rocky Mountain Bank, a small bank in the Phoenix area, offers a full line of consumer products. The bank was originally formed in 1989 by a group of Arizona business lenders to meet the need for a locally owned and operated business bank. It opened its first office in Tempe, Arizona in 1998.

Visitors to the new Wal-Mart office can open accounts, make deposits and apply for both business and personal loans. What makes Rocky Mountain Bank even a little different from others in town is that the bank, like the store, is also open seven days a week. Account holders seem to like that feature.

The other banks in town are hoping it doesn't start a trend!
