Advertising isn't the only route to drum up business. Networking by your employees can yield new customers. Encourage all lending officers to join local civic clubs and participate in community activities. When they tell people they interact with to "Come see us if we can help you with any credit needs you might have" it plants a seed that people will remember next time they need a loan.
