A New Use for Biometrics

A bank in Puerto Rico recently implemented a new use for biometric technology - verification of time cards. Employees of FirstBank Puerto Rico must use the new terminals to check in and out of work, thereby eliminating the practice of having a buddy punch in. Instead of filling out or punching a card, employees simply place their hands on the machine.
