According to a study done in California, there is one criminal incident per 3.5 million transactions at the ATM. According to the same kind of study done by ABC network, there is one act of violence in every 11.7 million transactions. Wonder which one is correct?!

ABC's study also claims 40 percent of ATM's do not have cameras.

According to the National Center for Computer Crime Data, the annual cost of computer abuse is over $555 million, personnel time lost is equal to 930 person years, and 15.3 computer years per year. The average loss is $89 per each microcomputer, $1,140 per minicomputer and $10,950 per mainframe.

American workers are starting to stick to their jobs longer. We are recording 4.2 years of seniority today, up from 3.6 years ten years ago. Researchers say the aging of the labor pool has much to do with the trend.

Bank examiners are hired as a result of recruiting efforts at more than 400 major colleges and universities. Last year, according to one FDIC associate director, 3.4 (of a possible 4.0) was the grade point average of the 500 examiners hired.

The U.S. Government says there are still many checks drawn on the government over the past years that have not been cashed. They estimate there is $2.5 billion outstanding in old checks.

Health experts are advising that you come back from vacation a couple of days early and just relax. According to these doctors, re-entry is crucial when coming back into the world of work after a vacation. Mind and body need time to adjust.

61 percent of temporary employees are hired for special projects, according to the Administrative Management Association. And over 50 percent to cover workers on leave or for vacationing workers.
