It Really Happened!
We called FDIC to find out how to get a copy of the FDIC Improvement Act of 1991. They referred us to the Government Printing Office.
After getting past two voice mail responses and pushing another button on the telephone, I finally reached a young woman and told her I wanted a copy of the FDIC Improvement Act of 1991. After a long pause, she asked, "What does FDIC stand for?"
It really happened! Honest and true!
