They'd Use It If They Knew How

MasterCard sponsored a survey of 1,010 people and found that 535 of them owned an ATM card. Of these, 209 people used their card at least twice a week to make cash withdrawals or for other banking transactions. However, although 356 of the cardholders knew they could use their cards at point-of-sale terminals, only 179 had ever actually used their card that way. 47% of them said they'd use the card at the point of sale if they knew more about how and where to use them.
