A Place To Park The Kids

The parents who come into the Lemont branch of the Hemlock Federal Bank in Oak Forest, Illinois to do their transactions will have a place to "park" the children while they're making deposits, cashing checks, or applying for a loan.

The Kids' Korner is being built right into the lobby, featuring toys and coloring books.Michael Stevens, Hemlock's president and CFO (and father of a five year old) estimates that as many as 33% of the bank's customers bring the children inside with them. He says putting an area aside for the children will make the branches seem more "kid-friendly".
