Question & Answer

Question: Can you tell me if the "I-9" form issued by the Department of Justice is still required by applicants?

Answer: Sure is. The I-9, also known as the Employment Eligibility Verification form is issued by DOJ, but is enforced by the Department of Labor. And when they come in to do their OFCCP audits, they will definitely review to be sure you have one for every employee hired during the year of the audit. (Thanks to our advisor on Personnel issues, George Huddleston for the answer to this one!)
