Should'a Counted It Later

Bridgeport, Connecticut police arrested a 45 year old man after he had robbed the United Bank. He was sitting out in back of the bank, counting and sorting the $857 he had just taken from the teller.

It's Donald's Fault!

Donald Trump has been sued by a man in Gary, Indiana, who says that he robbed banks because the floating Trump Casino in Gary enticed him to wager, and fed his gambling addiction. He claims it wasn't his fault he robbed banks in Peotone and Mokena, Illinois in 1998 and 1999. He says it's Donald Trump's fault!

Money Trail
Donald Melton from Inman, South Carolina was arrested after robbing the CCB Bank. He forgot to ask for a bag to put the money in, and so tried to stuff it all in his pants and socks.

As he ran from the scene of the crime, currency managed to come loose and fall out. The police kept getting reports from people along the "escape" route about money laying about on the street. They just followed the cash trail and arrested him.

Who Needs DNA?
Police in Melbourne, Australia showed the photo of a robber taken by a bank's surveillance camera to an expert in anatomy.

The robber's right ear was sticking way out from under his mask.

The professor immediately pointed out that "...the man's ear has a narrow and prominent antihelix, his upper crus anthelicis was wide and vertical, and his intertragic notch was narrow and triangular, which are all just dead giveaways."

[Editor's Note: Right. Anybody would have noticed that!]

Police had been searching for this robber for over a year, but the good professor made a positive identification in less than half an hour.

When arrested, the bank robber confessed, and is serving a jail sentence.

It is the first recorded bank robbery conviction on the basis of identification by ear.
