In a more or less "group" robbery, the suspects were not hard to identify. And they were easy to find.
Seven high school seniors where arrested before school, in the parking lot, and charged with robbing a local bank the day before. They evidently wanted money to celebrate their upcoming graduation.
Online Bank Robbery
What police in Britain are calling the first Internet bank robbery ended with the arrest of three people following a six month investigation.
Evidently the thieves managed to open fraudulent loans and savings accounts. They got away with about $5,000. Police officers seized computer equipment, cash and drugs when they made their raid and arrests.
Internet bank Egg (that's its name - Egg) developed software that gave an alert when more than one account was opened from the same address or PC
The thieves are being charged with bank robbery.
