Great Comedy Act

It was bad enough that three banks were robbed of a total of almost $44,000, but the robber also let loose a gun shot into the ceiling of each office he hit. And then made his getaway on a bicycle.

But to confess to the robberies with a microphone in your hand to a room full of 300 people during a stage show that was being recorded was just plain above and beyond! Glenn Matthews, 43, was convicted of the three robberies after he told the audience during his comedy act in a club in Macon, Georgia, that he was the robber the police were looking for. Police had no problem finding witnesses to the confession when they arrived to arrest him!
