Certificate Of Registration From MSB's

Question: Our auditor tells me I should have a certificate of registration from MSB's. I'm having a problem getting one. Can you help?

Answer: FinCEN says that although MSB's must register, there is no requirement to have a record of certification or registration maintained by the bank. Your auditor may just be trying to make sure the MSB has done what it was supposed to do. Evidently that isn't one of your responsibilities.
