New Services Available At ATM

The trend in automated teller machine use these days is to find ways to use the machines to offer more bank services or to market those that are available. This trend found its way to Tyndall Federal Credit Union, Austin, TX, via four new machines designed to optimize the financial institution's banking processes.

The new machines, made by Wincor Nixdorf, allow Tyndall to offer such services as coin and cash acceptance and dispensing, immediate credit for ATM deposits, and the ability to scan checks, thereby eliminating the need for deposit slips. In the future, they'll have additional capabilities such as printing statements, cashier's checks and loan documents; notifying customers of pre-approved loan status; and accepting first-time deposits from new customers.
