Didn't Learn Much the First Time

70 year old Gordon Bryant stood outside the Farmer's State Bank of Versailles, Illinois, pulling a nylon stocking over his head. Farmer's State had installed a system to buzz customers in after they had been held up in February. When they saw what Bryant was doing, they refused to unlock the door and let him in. He disgustedly took off the stocking, got in his car, and drove away.

A deputy caught up with him, and turned him over to the FBI which charged him with attempted bank robbery. A background check on 70 year old Bryant turned up the fact that he had served time in prison when he was younger ... for bank robbery!
