Pedal to the Metal - Oops!

In another report from England, officers still talk about the group of bank robbers that 'souped up' a van by putting a powerful engine in it that would easily outrun the police. The bank robbery went as planned, and their getaway included speeds of up to 100 miles an hour. When faced with a narrow one lane bridge, however, their brakes were not powerful enough to stop them in time. They were arrested after they were pulled from the wreckage. There was full recovery of the stolen money.
