Control by Phone or PDA
In Japan, a banking organization is launching a system whereby bank customers, through their cell phones or PDAs, can control when cash can be withdrawn from their accounts at automated teller machines. Resona banking group says it hopes the system will cut down on fraud. Users can both specify times for use or suspend use when a card is lost or stolen.
