Rewarding Those Who Rebuild

Bank of America has launched a two-year, $15 million initiative designed to assist local organizations and individuals who have found a way to help their communities rebuild or revitalize neighborhoods. The initiative has three programs: 1) a program that provides $200,000 in grant funding and leadership training to neighborhood nonprofit organizations working to promote vibrant neighborhoods, 2) a program that recognizes local heroes by giving them a $5,000 contribution toward the eligible nonprofit of their choice, and 3) a student leaders program that recognizes youth working toward improving their neighborhoods. The student program also includes internships for the students and mentoring arranged by Bank of America
