FDIC e-activity

FDIC, always a leader in use of the Internet and electronics, has taken more steps in that direction. FDIC now offers seven new business transactions on FDICconnect. In addition to application filings and distribution of Special Alerts (think of all the postage that saves!) FDIC is introducing several components of interest to compliance managers. One is the ability to exchange information in preparation for and during examinations. Another feature is the ability to exchange consumer complaint files with FDIC's Consumer Response Center.
