FinCEN Proposes Nationally Set AML Priorities

The Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) was passed in 1970 to prevent criminals from using financial institutions to hide or launder money. The Act requires financial institutions to report suspicious transactions exceeding $10k to regulators.
