Effective date for Sec. 301 of Act, titled "Protecting Consumers' Credit," which amends Sec. 605A of the FCRA and adds a requirement for Nationwide Consumer Reporting Agencies to provide consumers free security freezes on their consumer credit reports, and free temporary or permanent removal of such a freeze on the consumer's request.
