Effective date for SBA 13 CFR 120 amendments

The Small Business Administration has published [88 FR 21890] a final rule in today's Federal Register amending its business loan program regulations at 13 CFR Part 120 to lift the moratorium on licensing new Small Business Lending Companies (SBLCs) and add a new type of lending entity called a Community Advantage SBLC. SBA is also removing the requirement for a Loan Authorization in the 7(a) and 504 Loan Programs.

The amendments will become effective May 12, 2023.
