Regulation E Fee Disclosures - Section 205.7(b)
04/04/2005
When a bank charges a fee for excessive activity on money market or savings, isn't this a required fee disclosure under Section 205.7(b)(5) on the bank's initial Regulation E disclosure requirements, as are the limitations (3/6 rule) for complying with Section 205.7(b)(4)? If so, can the bank comply by just providing its Schedule of Fees and Charges disclosure with its Regulation E disclosure, or would it only comply with the fees disclosed directly on the Regulation E initial disclosure?
Payable Through Check - Local or Not?
04/04/2005
I was reading a response to a question regarding a hold on an insurance draft or credit card check. I want to make certain that it is OK to put an exception hold on this type of check, if over $5000, release $100 next day, $4900 in 2 or 5 days and the balance over $5000 in 7 or 11 days. What started my search was I was trying to determine if I had a "credit union" cashiers check (local), payable through a (non local) bank, which routing number do I use to determine the hold?
