I didn't catch any numbers at all! Sigh. I still stand by Mark being the mole!

My wifes choice of Veronica is gone, but I am with BF-I think Nicole and Paul are too obvious a choice...Mark was really fired up about losing his journal.

So far I haven't read one opinion anywhere on this site or others that says they think that Paul is the mole - that's who I am going with!!

The only two I can see at this point are Mark (too many slightly but not overtly suspicious things catch my attention) or Clay (just because he's quiet, and black).

Why does him being black have anything to do with it?

A lot of casting folks will force a minority into a role like this to avoid being called out for discrimination, and short of Dennis Rodman in the Celebrity version, there has not been a black mole yet.

I haven't been able to catch the show yet. Have I missed too much to start watching now? What day is it on?

Mondays. You might want to go read the summaries at RealityNewsOnline to get caught up.

I know this is late responding to this, but that is ludicrous, BF....there have been plenty of minority contestants...just because one has not been the mole doesn't mean a thing. Under your reasoning, Nicole would be a better choice, since she is black AND a woman-kill 2 birds with one stone...

Perhaps she would, but she's been way too obvious. Clay is quieter.

And it's not my reasoning either. It's a theory. Personally, I still think 100% that it is Mark.

The first Mole was a woman.

Now that Kristin's gone, I'm left with Mark as my sole candidate.

And BF is correct, there is an active theory - not his, but on a well-known interwebs board - that Clay is the Mole mostly because he's black. Sadly there are shows that do seem to pre-select winners based on demographics (ANTM is one of the ones that is often talked about in this group.)

You know, EGB, the fact that we both have Mark left as the sole candidate is almost scary. Either we're that good, or we're going to be shocked.....

Well, it figgers that the first time I actually hazarded a guess as to who the Mole might be, that person got bounced immediately.

Overall, I'd rate this show a C at best. For one thing, we only get the highly edited view of what the producers want us to see, so for all we know the Mole is giving him or herself away rather blatantly. For another, this kind of show may only really work well one time, because now all the players have figured out they need to at least periodically act Mole-like to throw others off. So I am a bit tired of "So-and-So did/did not do such-and-such, and that seems very Mole-y to me".

I maintain that Mark is the mole. A very distant second for me has Nicole and Clay as near equals, but Mark is the one I really think is the mole.

Does anyone else feel that this version just isn't as good as the original? I can't quite put my finger on what it is, but it's just . . . different. The change in host seems to be the most obvious thing, but the tasks don't seem to be as interesting, and it seems like they focus on the exemptions more. I'm enjoying it, but not as much as I remember liking the original.

I still think Mark is the Mole, but boy did Nicole make me think I could be wrong last night. First of all, she can't count?! Then she says she wants to go home, but couldn't do it, but acted like she was scared that she had failed to self-execute too?

I think it's Nicole, although she's almost too obvious about it -but that could be the editing.

That's one of the reasons I still think Mark. He hasn't really done THAT much to say hey, I'm the mole, and when given the chance to OBVIOUSLY sabotage the pot, he hasn't. Plus, all the editing clues lead to him.

I'm leaning toward Nicole now. I think Mark's gamer persona is pretty close to who he is and that's why we haven't seen him blow any of the tasks, except for the ones where he could drop out on grounds of dignity. There, he could safely act Mole-like without comprising his "in it to win it" philosophy.
