Writing "news" before the "story" occurs is actually creating fiction. In this case, the news is that the reduced award was overturned, not that the rape occured. Where FoxNews made a mistake is in their misleading headline. They implied that the award reduction was the news, not the overturning of that decision.

Your comments seem to me, also, to imply that you don't care about rape victims or poor court decisions.

i don't know how me pointing out in my first post that the decision that had the first couple posters up in arms was actually moot implied anything other than me observing that it was moot.

on the contrary, pointing out that it was moot due to an appeal is actually implying the unlikelihood of it occurring again due to precedent if anything.

Maybe others will take you at your word when you start doing the same.

No, actually, when I opened this thread, it only showed the first page, not the next two. After I posted that and the thread recycled it was suddenly 3 pages.
