After watching Obamamessiah spew out all of this BS tonight, I have determined what is wrong with him! The man is stupid enough to think that his worshipers are stupid enough to believe the BS that is spewing from his pie hole! Unfortunately for us, his supporters actually are that stupid!!! This guy is a Jack-Ass of the highest magnitude! As are all of his supporters! But don't worry Obama fans, under the Obama plan, the Federal Government is going to pay for you to have that fixed!

The Obamessiah promises He'll go through the federal budget with a fine-tooth comb and cut wasteful spending, but just like His worshipper who posts regular inanity on this forum, He can't name a single one. Hasn't He been in the Senate for a couple of years? Doesn't He, you know, have to vote on the budget? Shouldn't He have been able to find something to propose cutting since 2005 if that was such a priority? Oh well...

You're right - He was pretty hateful in that speech, even though at the same time decrying it. I don't know, BB - I guess He thought it would be a good strategy.

Disprove. Google Ron Paul You're never going to get love from your government - government itself is a restriction on Liberty. However, we all must decide to accept to live within an organization of laws. The amount of laws, and the amount of restrictions on Liberty is where most people differ. Living in a society that embraces and fosters Liberty is the hardest and most dangerous society to live in, because it's built on trust; trust for your fellow citizens, and trust that the government you elect will have the strength and foresight to make laws that have the least intrusive effect on personal liberty. Liberty is dangerous because it requires everyone to pursue their goals, so long as it doesn't injure or impair other citizens or property. How many of us are up for that standard? In this day and age, I think very few can handle the self-restraint and discipline that Liberty demands. And so we'll go the easy route: socialism. It doesn't require a lot of thought, the government gains so much power over individual liberty that it stifles creativity and entrepreneurship (think windfall profits tax), and drags everyone down to a mean. Mediocrity will be the goal, and it's already started in the US. We are still a great power, but are we in decline? What has coincided with this decline? Increased government, regulation and bureaucracy, increased government spending, no emphasis on civics in school, and a culture driven by greed. In the past wealthy Americans gave back to the country in forms of philanthropy; Ben Franklin left all his patents to the People, Central Park was a grant from a private foundation. America was built on entrepreneurship, and the philanthropy that was a natural extension of a successful enterprise. Be careful what you wish for this election - you may just get it. How will Liberty die in America? Apparently with thunderous applause...(Yes, I ended with a Star Wars quote, how crazy is that?)

I like how Obama knows where Bin Laden is and is going to get him...
"John McCain says he will follow Bin Laden to the gates of heck, but he won't even follow him to the cave where he is hiding."
Well, since Mr. Obama knows where he is hiding, doesn't he have an obligation to let us know now???

How will Liberty die in America? Apparently with thunderous applause...(Yes, I ended with a Star Wars quote, how crazy is that?) spoken (written) like a true libertarian. I doubt Thomas Jefferson could have said it better. We may go down this path of socialism, but it will only last so long. Too many liberty-loving patriots will resist, and eventually we will be brought back to our senses. Too many men and women of vision, entrepeneurs, with too much energy, to be held back for long.

I think that someone gave BF an entire deck of race-cards to play, like a canasta-size deck.... Obama's the one playing the race card. I'm just pointing it out.

What bothers me is that if Obama wins, it will be just because he has rallied the african american vote by convincing them that by electing them, they put an end to racism. Meanwhile, white voters vote for the best candidate, not based on race. So, who's that make racist? This will just continue to show that those perpetuating racism are those who were most effected by it. In my opinion, you have oversimplified this BF. Yes, I agree there are black voters who take that stance, but this is too broad a brush stroke. Some people just legitimately think that socialist principals are the way to go, this includes both black and white. By the same token, I am certain there are plenty of unenlightened white voters whose chief concern is that Obama is black. I equate anyone not voting for Obama because he is black to anyone voting for him because he is black. Actual racism, not the popular definition, but the actual distorted belief that one's ethnic race is superior to another's, and all of the equally unenlightened residue from such distorted thinking, will be eliminated over time, as humans evolve, by greater and greater consciousness and awareness of human dignity. It will go hand-in-hand with the return of virtue, not the virtue of tolerance only, but all of those so lacking in our society today. Racism, as bad as it is, is not a cause, it is a symptom, and electing Obama, who himself has had racially prejudicial overtones in his writings, will solve nothing w/r/t racism. Anyhow, that is my 2 cents.

I watched about ten minutes of it and thought that it was a pretty good speech. I stopped when he started attacking McCain without any support for his arguments. I am sure this is going to be one of the most passionate and aggressive political campaigns ever, but bring some support to the table.

The man was never properly vetted by the lamestream media; what makes you think they will come charging in to challenge his arguments now. Only Fox News and some papaer media like the Washington Times will do that, as will talk radio. I guarantee you, any debates will have to be held on MSNBC and CNN; Obama is too much of a wuss to acquiesce to a debate administered by Fox.

My parents said they watched the speech and he came across real well, making a lot of promises. All I said is that he must of had a teleprompter because he does not do well off the cuff
