Sorry for posting anon but. . .

We had 2 checks drawn from an attorney's IOLTA account, for $8800 and $2700 - different people, just happened to be cashed the same day.

Does a CTR need to be filed?

No... since 1 person did not benefit from or conduct both transactions the amounts both fall under the $10000 threshold
