I don't think that Mike has relaxed at any time during the run of the show, and I don't think that he will now just because Kristin is gone. I think he'll continue to work hard.

i agree. i think he works very hard. only 2 more weeks. next week, they go to the final 4 and they all go home. and the week after is the finale. YAY!

i don't know. but based on last year, it won't start until the fall. i haven't seen anything about it though.

I didn't like Kristen's rationalization. If the situation was reversed, she would have voted Mike off. I really wanted Ron to fall below and go home. I was surprised that in Kristen's follow up that she had only lost 16 pounds in 2 months since she left the ranch. She really had no one to blame but herself for being below the yellow line, gaining a pound. From the food video that they took to show Bob their food choices, it could be that they weren't eating enough and her body had a "starvation" reaction and was trying to hold onto fat.

I think that it will come down to Tara and Mike.

FWIW, I agree about Tara and Mike. I hope Mike wins if it's between the two of them. I like Helen (old people have to stick together), but I don't think she'll make it to the end.

i think you are right, creditcop. i would like mike to win it, only because even though tara is tough and has won a lot of challenges, mike has worked equally hard, but has progressed with grace and humility. tara has been somewhat insufferable.

Remember that May is a ratings sweep month. I figured up the % of where everyone stood after this weeks show and Tara leads but just barely, then Mike, Helen, Filippe, and Ron. I wanted Ron to go home but it didn't work out that way.

I think Mike will end up winning as he still has weight to lose and I don't think that Tara has enough left to lose to win unless Mike doesn't keep it up.

I was bummed about the show next week and thought it was the Finale but oh well. I love the Finale shows (but they drag them out too long) because you get to see how everyone has done. I just wonder if Joelle will show up for the finale.

i hope joelle shows up and causes drama. i'm wondering if that other orange kid - the one that didn't want to be there - will come back.

I am sure that the show's producers will try and get both of them back. Maybe if Joelle comes back and she didn't do very well, Bob will start cursing at her again. I am also wondering how the grandfather is doing. His wife was doing well and I hope he is as well.

I'm afraid that Tara will win also - she is my least favorite. I'd really like Mike to win, and if not him, then Helen.

I voted for Mike. I agree that I think Tara will win especially if Mike has trouble training due to the problem with his hip. Tara has lost 46% and Mike 45% so Mike has some work to do. I do give props to Ron for finishing, I never thought that he could do it.

I can't believe that Tara and Helen ran the entire way. That is amazing thinking of where they were 18 weeks ago. It was nice to see some of the former contestants. Glad to see Bernie.

Didn't it seem odd that Helen's husband came to the marathon, Tara's friend came to the marathon, but Ron's wife and Mike's mom was not there? I thought that was sort of weird.

My wife was watching this last night, I missed the reason why Mike couldn't run - what was the problem with his hip?

To be honest I haven't watched or kept up with the show until last night but I could relate to them when they were running/finishing the marathon.

Seriously, I relate because I know exactly how they feel having lost over 100 lbs and completing something that you never thought possible like a marathon. When they were talking and getting emotional about what they had accomplished I knew what they were talking about.

All that was said about Mike's hip was that he felt a sharp pain, nothing more. And that the doctors told him not to run in the marathon. I saw Bill's face, not much else. I thought Heba looked a little more hippy as well.

I quit watching after Dane's marathon fiasco. Please tell me they actually ran ALL of this one.
