Do any of you make your SIC inquiries for lost or stolen securities as an indirect inquirer through a correspondent bank who is a direct inquirer? If yes, could you let me know what correspondent bank you use and how it is working out? We are considering changing from direct to indirect.

We too are thinking about switching from being a direct to an indirect inquirer. As a direct inquirer, the fees assessed by SIC are outragious.

I too am curious what experience others are having.

That is why we are investigating this...the cost is getting quite high as a direct inquirer due to our bank size (>$1 Bn).
