Bonnie, et al, what is your disdain for Palin?
She sets off red flags for me. I have worked for bad managers and she is striking the same chords those managers did. I had a similar bad feeling about Bush "W" back in 2000.

"Similar feeling"? Interesting. Are you generally liberal or conservative? Generally neither. I am conservative in my own finances but I support charitable organizations. I find either end of the liberal/conservative spectrum to be nauseating. I feel that extremism in any fashion is counterproductive. I also feel that if you treat people like c-rap, then c-rap will follow you around where ever you go, and this is a lesson that many business leaders and politicians have simply not learned. With respect to Ms. Palin, I feel that her "folksiness" rings hollow, and I am not about to declare that the Emperor has a fine new suit. I would not be surprised if one of her next moves is to distribute copies of Who Moved My Cheese? to the crowds. (Okay, that last sentance is simply an example of managers who did not "get it" and thought handing out that "book" would be the panacea to raise morale in the company.)

I am conservative in my own finances but I support charitable organizations. This is true for most conservatives.
