I love this thread! This has been a relatively decent week. I talked a customer out of trying to extort the bank, got the CIP lobby notices ready to distribute, finished a marketing letter, and the weather is cooling down.. bartender I would like a Coors Light and turn up the juke box!

My normal response would be "Get me a Coors Light too". However, considering this past week has been spent doing CIP training for every dept/branch individually, conducting branch audits, preparing security/compliance at our new branch opening next week, preparing policy revisions for the next Board meeting, etc...Coors Light will not cut it. Give me a huge Long Island Ice Tea please, tall glass please! Thanks!

Ok funny story. We received the exam request and after each exam, and the listing of things they want it says "Send to so and so by Sept 15th in electronic format". Of course most of these are half a page long, and the final four pages are CRA. They do not contain the "send it by Sept. 15th line", nor the electronic format line so...I didn't send the stuff on the 15th, and I haven't scanned (lets be frank, I was told they'd want to see files on the 29th, and the 29th is the day I'll be ready for that).

I got a call from my examiner, who really is a great guy, asking if I was blowing him off LMAO He umm wanted it all in electronic format on the 15th. WOOPS! I made him read his request and he saw why I didn't do it, but sheesh what a way to begin an exam....

Hic-cup... ah, one of the advantages of being on the East Coast is that happy hour starts here before anywhere else in the USA!

Well, Dawnie, last night it was Pinot Noir from France, but a 1988, not a 1998. We opened a 3 liter (double magnum) of Bourgogne Rouge Joseph Faiveley to celebrate with a doctor who opened her practice in 1988. The wine was a little musty at first, but opened beautifully.

I toasted you (a virtual toast) in abstencia about 9:00 CA time.

I've been looking for my Pinot all day Al. I think Mr. Clean forgot to leave it.

But since you have that lovely 1988....I'll virtually share. What a lovely way to celebrate success in business

Al, I know this will seem sacreligious (spelling?) but, since it IS officially autumn, I mulled some wine. Not a real good bottle; some of the cheaper stuff. But...a steaming mug of mulled wine in front of a roaring fire is a great way to spend the evening with MOML. And if he's not around, then TWO mugs will do!

I'll take frosty mug of Bud.
