For fun I like Clive Cussler's Dirk Pitt Novels. He is more than James Bond.

Also like Balducci, Deaver, and Ludlum.

Ludlum's Borne series are quite different than the movies and IMHO much better.

A couple of new ones for me are Brad Thor and Flynn (forget his first name).

The Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldon is a great series. The first book is Outlander. The Fiery Cross is the 5th book in the series. I would suggest starting at the beginning. The are all very good books.

I think I'll have to go to the used book store and try to find the earlier books. I think I've read Outlander, but it's been so long ago I can't remember. I'd like to go ahead and get all of those prior to the one I have now so that I can read them in order.
