Does anyone know if it is the law here in Florida that once you move to Florida there is a certain amount of time that you must change your out-of-state license to Florida? I tried calling the DMV and never get a chnace to talk to a real person and the website is not helpful. We are located by a major military installation and I have heard that military personnel are not required to change.

According to their website you have 10 days.

In Florida, by law you must notify the Driver License Division of a change of address within 10 days of moving.

As a general rule, Military personnel do not live under state rule. Where I am, although in Georgia, I know they do not have to change their "residence" for lisence purposes.
