Does anyone have any good elder abuse training or know of some resources I can tap into?

We use BVS for training and they have a couple of courses available re elder abuse. I don't know of any other resources to point you toward, however!

You might try contacting Adult Protective Services to see if they have anything.

Our online training from BAI covers Elder Abuse.

We've had great training provided by the State AARP groups. They are willing and don't charge for their time.

We have done the same thing with outside services from local Elder Abuse Protection Agencies; they do a wonderful job from helping you identify the various components of Elder Abuse (physical, financial, etc) to helping you understand your rights as a reporting entity and what your resources are. These are never easy issues to deal with
