We are in the process of creating a new bill pay service for our business clients. We want to make sure the name we want to use has not been trademarked by another bank for their service. We use the website uspto.gov to find out if it is trademarked. Nothing comes back but we have learned that the website is not always 100% accurate. Is there any other way to find this information out?

Have a trademark attorney do a search for you. It might cost a few hundred dollars, but then you'll know for sure.
