A day late and a dollar short, I leave the office for a day and this happens. Congrats Andy ! Does this mean you will be leaving us in the Brazos Valley and Central Texas ? I don't know where the offices of BOL are but they can't be better than Texas.

What I want to know is, does this mean you're coming to Lucy's presentation at the DACA conference next month??? And if so, I demand that you sit with us local BOLers. (Right, Bob, Lois, et al???)

I'll throw in my own "Congratulations" as well, and the good thing is we don't have to say "We'll miss you", because you're not going away. I will go ahead and give a big thank you to all of the assistance you've provided in the past and that you'll provide in the future.

Of course, now that this will be work, will it still be fun?

Wow, I check out for almost a month and look what all happens! CONGRATULATIONS Andy!!!

I have recently shifted hats at my bank and am now the credit analyst, instead of Compliance Officer, but will still wear the CRA Officer hat. I have been so busy trying to keep up with my new responsiblities, I didn't realize Mary Beth had made the "play of the year" hiring Andy to work for her. Great idea, and while I won't be on here as often, I look forward the Andy's insight as always.

Hey, we won't have to thank Andy as often anymore--he'll just be doing his job! Unless, of course, he goes above and beyond the job description--which we are of course expecting of him.

By the way, what is the job description and title. BOL is playing it close to the vest. Or did I miss something?

Can't speak for BOL, but I'll bet it's something like "Compliance god"

Jeez! I don't know what all the fuss is about! If I had over 7000 posts on BOL, I'd be looking for another job, too! (And not of my own volition!)

Seriously, Andy - I think this is so fantastic! We have all relied on you for so long, and the fact that you could dedicate so much of your time to this has been a blessing. I'm just glad you will finally be getting paid for what you have been giving away for free!
Congratulations!

Andy, I'm happy for you and your new position. After 21 years at the same bank, it must have been difficult. We know you're making the right decision and are grateful for your advice and experience. Congrats!

Congratulations, Andy. It couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. It will probably be different for a while not having to worry about the bank, but I'm sure you'll get used to it very quickly.

Good luck!

What, you mean he wasn't already on the payroll? Maybe his bank CEO said that his BOL addiction was affecting his work. Isn't this like hiring an alcoholic to work in a liquor store? Now that he is full time, I predict he'll be at 10,000 posts by the end of September.

Well now I can officially congratulate you as well (I won't have to keep "our little secret" any longer). Remember, you are no longer a banker. Now you join us "Vendors." Come to think of it, you're now a competitor of mine .

Congratulations!

Congratulations Andy. It’s well deserved.

I often just read the message boards because there is so much valuable information available without even having to post a question. Your insight, knowledge and willingness to share them is very much appreciated.

Look what happens when you spend a couple of days locked in a room finishing you CIP. Congrats Andy, you've been a great help to all of us - and now you're going to get paid to do what you love.
