We have a HELOC that was made to both a husband and wife. One spouse has come to ask that we make no more advances on the HELOC. Can we discontinue advances on the loan without the consent of both? The note is not due for three years and is not at the maximum limit. Thank you for any help.

You need to read the fine print in your HELOC agreement. This should be covered.
