Any other fans out there of this show? How about the Barret-Jackson auction?

I love seeing all the antique and vintage cars and even some of the newer models. I love seeing the old mustangs and am always on the lookout for my first car, a 1967 convertible Mustang. The one I had I lovingly restored and eventually sold to purchase my first home.

I used to attend lots of car shows, and was lucky enough one time to judge the "local favorite" a few years ago.

Yes, I am a lady who loves those "old" cars.

Is the auction they show on the Speed channel? If so, I've seen it a few times. Some of those cars are amazing.

It probably is the Speed Channel, but I am not sure.

Mecum has held and will be holding auctions in Kansas City. I was unable to attend the most recent one, but there is another one in early March I hope to be able to attend.

My husband and I currently own a candy apple red 2003 50th anniversary edition Corvette. My husband is thinking about putting it in the local auction, but I don't think it will get the price he's looking for.

My dream vehicle is a late '40s early '50s vintage Ford or International pickup. One of these days, maybe. smile

I would also like a '40s vintage LeBaron convertible Woody!

that may not be a good choice in light of your driving record...
