Mr H brings in two deposits. One $5,000 cash for his business and one $6,000 cash for his other business. Both have different TINs. Later, his employee brings in $200 cash to deposit into one of the business accounts.

A CTR would be filed because one person conducted cash transactions that total over 10,000 in one day. Is one CTR for the $11,000 conducted by Mr. H or is the $200 added. I say no.

I would submit CTR for cash in of $11,200 and identify both Mr. H and the employee as conducting the transactions.

BrendaC is correct. You would list both businesses and both people conducting the transactions. Total $11,200.
