Gimme Three Steps - Lynyrd Skynyrd

This was back in the days before we had in-ear monitors. Notice how everybody had to crowd around and stick close to the floor monitors. This was especially true when you played outside.

Lynyrd Skynyrd is my all time least favorite band, only because when i moved back to my small hometown it was a continual favorite at the "Corner Bar"(which was actually called the corner bar)

I can understand that kms. My daughter doesn't like '70s music because that was all they played at a restaurant where she worked as a server.

Geez, I had the same experience where I worked as a server at a restaurant. Oh, wait a minute, maybe that's because it was the seventies.

Bungle in the Jungle is OK, mostly because of the meter, but I still prefer Aqualung or Locomotive Breath. The first time I heard Aqualung I was blown away. It's one of the songs that made me want to learn how to play acoustic guitar.

I always listened to what my brothers listened too. One loved Lynyrd Skynyrd - still does to this day, and so do I.

This song is a favorite.

Thanks, Bugs. I love me some Lynyrd Skynyrd. RVZ wrote a lot of my favorite songs.. Too bad his days were numbered.

I can't bring myself to see Lynyrd Skynyrd, but I do watch the Free Bird dvd occasionally. smile

we have the ability to do that here with a turn table with a ruby thing that touches the record. I can't remember at the moment what it is called. Music is taken seriously here

That's very sad. He was fairly young too. There is a poignet video on YouTube of Billy talking about the plane crash. I'll try to post a link tonight if I remember and can find it.
