I haven't seen Private Practice for several weeks and I have obviously missed a lot. I thought that Addison and the cop had broken up but he was back last night. And who is the guy that Violet is sleeping with? I thought she and Pete had hooked up. And I thought the pediatrician and that blonde doctor from the hospital had broken up also. Did her father die recently. And has Addison's brother been on before or did he just show up last night?

Update: Still a ratings dissappointment. Producers are hoping the crossover episode on Grey's Anatomy cab inject some life into the show so that Kate Walsh can still have a job.

summary: they all break up...but they continue to sleep with each other



(as i recall...the character of Addison's brother did appear on an ealier episode...because he was sleeping with one of Addy's friends...??)

Addison's brother and Naomi hooked up the last time he showed up.

I missed last night and I may have missed the previous show, but I think Violet was with the new psychiatrist (Brian Benben) that works in the new medical office with Charlotte (the blonde doc that was sleeping with the pediatrician).
Violet and new psychiatrist had tried to - you know- a couple of weeks ago but he had 'performance issues.'

Well, she is now pregnant and she said she didn't know who the father is.

That was fast!

And Pete had a patient that was dying that felt really bad because he had no children and you could see Pete thinking about that. Of course he doesn't know that Violet is pregnant and that it might be his. So the plot thickens.

Previews from the next show showed Naomi and Addison's brother together again.

As if she won't be right back on Grey's if Private Parts uh I mean Practice fails.

Addison and the copy got back together, but he has trust issues and she just compounded that by kissing Wyatt, the OB/GYN that she couldn't stand.

So neither potential father of Violet's baby want kids? What is she going to do when she starts showing? Is the pediatrician (can't remember his name) going to claim it? And boy did he screw up with Charlotte last night AGAIN!!!!

Me thinks Sheldon would be open to it.

Cooper did blow it... time for him to focus on him and Charlotte, and let Violet grow up and figure this one out for herself.

I agree completely. It is just like Cooper said. They take 1 step forward and then fall back a big 2 steps. They just can't seem to get things right. I think he needs to be there for Violet, but not hold her hand the entire time. She is a big girl.

She can't hide the pregnancy forever.

But remember, Coop and Violet used to kinda have a thing for each other they just never admitted it out loud. When Violet started too Coop was already involved with Charlotte. I think Charlotte is a nut case!

I remember that. So maybe they really will get together. I don't like Charlotte so I hope she is gone for good but I doubt it.

And I think it is really wierd that Naomi and Sam are discussing dating and having sex with other people with each other. What normal divorced couple does that?

According to an article in the TV Guide Addison's brother is supposed to have some sort of parasitic worm in his brain and that's why they take him to Seattle to the best neruosurgeon in the country. Of course Naomi and Sam both go along for the ride.
