If we restrain an account and hear nothing from the authorities how long do we have to wait to release the restraint is it one year?? And secondly do we have to notify our customer their account is no longer being held???

You are here
Som of the restraining notices have a have a release date built into them I would check the notice. They are usually a year.

In the past we did not notify the customer when they were released as there was wording in the notice.

I have not had to deal with these in a while but as you did not have any replies I am giving my best guess.

Good luck.
