Somewhere in the middle
Wow! a lot of great suggestions: Unfortunately I am terrible at remembering movie titles. I just usually browse throught he video store until I see one I remember saying, "Oh I want to see that", but here are a few.

I like anything with John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart and Clint Eastwood. If you like old classics.
More Recent flicks:

All the Star Wars and Star Trek movies
The Sound of Music
Hair Spray
Wild Hogs
Remember the Titans
My cousin Vinnie
ShawShank Rendemptiom
The Wedding Singer
Transformers
Cliff Hanger
The Incredibles

Actually the Princess Diaries I and II aren't bad (Maybe because my daughter has ran a groove in the DVD watching them so much)

One that was cool that I can't remember the title to, was a Kirk Douglas movie where he is admiral of the USS Nimenz and the ship gets stuck in a time warp sent back in time just before the Pearl Harbor invasion.
