I'm not sure the grading is based on what he was supposed to do, as much as the bad decisions that have been made... IMO the extreme spending, the nominations and withdrawl of 8 govt officials are problems.

wow, maybe on the lenient side from me, but I'm the only person to give him a "C" rating.

my expectation of what a President should accomplish in the first 50-days is to set a tone for his administration, layout goals and objectives to what he hopes to achieve, and then provide realistic information to how he will accomplish these. I also expect that his actions will mirror his words.

Don't know what anyone else expects...

Way, way south.
I expect a President to do what he promised to do, and do the right thing for the country.

Sometimes those are mutually exclusive, sometimes not.

Are those unreasonable?

I think he came in pessimistically, pushed all blame for the economy on Bush, and didn't know how to communicate with Wall Street. When Bill Clinton has to speak up and say - Barack, put a positive spin on things - that's not good for our economy, or the world economy. I don't think it would have been all chocolates and roses if he had been more positive, but I think it would have been much, much better.

My voting would indicate not only is my heart not on my sleeve, but I may need to travel down the yellow brick road to see the wizard................
