Since we are in such bad economic shape, we ALL need to cut back - government included. If this is an annual event - fine, but it can be austier and then explained to all of us that, yes, we are continuing the tradition, but in a way so as not to incur elaborate expense.
Now where do I remember reading this before? Oh yea. It was HERE!!! And barely a week ago to boot. If the little people like us are talking about it, do you think he's hearing any of it? No, No, a thousand times NO! This is beyond nuts. I'm loosing faith in his potential really fast. You can't yell at AIG one minute and turn around and put on your black tie to party yourself the next. Sure you can Truff - we're talking Washington, as in D.C. Why Shouldn't They?
