We are in the process of reviewing the bank's flood procedures for forced placed insurance. In the first initial notification letter it must reference the appeal process required in Section 524 of the national Flood Insurance Reform act of 1994. Do we just refer to the appeal process or must we incorporate the review process in the letter? Thank You for all your help.

I see nowhere in the Act that requires such a statement. You can, together with your borrower (and a fee) request a determination from FEMA, but there is no requirement nor any requirement to disclose this in the letter. (not that I can see or have ever heard)
