I just saw something that said she died as a result of her skiing accident. has anyone else heard anything?

when i left for work this morning...i heard she was in critical condition (head injury from a skiing accident)

Critical condition is what MSNBC is reporting right now - she had a traumatic head injury.

i hope what i read was wrong. she is a classy lady. plus she's married to liam neeson. rawr!

everything else i've seen says she's critical, not dead. i hope that's correct.

Natasha Richardson played Patty Hearst in a movie. Coincidentally, Patty Hearst's name is in the news today also because Sara Jane Olson, formerly of the Symbionese Liberation Army which kidnapped Patty Hearst, is being released from prison today here in CA. (if you are younger than 40 or so, you will have to go to Wikipedia to figure out what I am talking about.)

Natasha having a private lesson on a beginner slope when she fell. There was no blood and no sign of impact. When two ski patrollers arrived, she was still conscious -- smiling and making jokes.

About an hour later, Natasha mentioned a headache and said she didn't feel well. Someone called 911 and the actresss was taken to the hospital. She was still conscious when she left the resort.

MTV UK reported that she died. Then recanted.

Sources close to Tony-award winning actress Natasha Richardson tell FOXNews.com that the 45-year-old actress is brain dead, and being transported back to New York to be taken off life support

Skiing is a pretty dangerous sport, no matter how good you are. A friend's exwife hit a tree going down a black diamond trail and is paralyzed from the neck down.

Weird accident and you just never know.
Last night- one news is sporting that she is in critical condition and another sporting that she is brain dead and they were flying her home to her family.

No matter - it is sad indeed.

I heard the latter, she is back in NYC and brain-dead.
