It seems that once again, the BOL smileys indicate that all of us are happy/content as evidenced by the  next to all of our usernames. Why do you suppose this is the case?

Well, the markets must have like it! I think it was more of a response to the government stating that they are actually finally going to help banks deal with "Toxic Assets," the basis of the problem. Imagine that, actually dealing with the underlying problem. Such a novel approach.

Actually, after reading this I’m a little freaked out by the smiling emoticon:
As the years have passed, a growing group of families have joined forces with two determined former New York City Police Department detectives and an investigative reporter to prove that dozens of young men were murdered in what some have dubbed the "Smiley Face" mystery. Whoa, there was a young man who disappeared after a ngiht at the bars downtown here. No trace of him and the family just wants to know what happened that night. Our downtown is on the water...wonder if anyone saw a grafitti smiley face on any of the buildings aroudn here?

With airport security the way it is, this wouldn't make one happy: Say you have an artificial leg, you get the honor of being pulled aside. OK fine check the leg, but for God sake what is with this wiping the hands down and then the leg. I never see anyone else getting there hands wiped. If you do not find a bomb attached to the leg, leave the hands alone and lets just get on with it.
