We have reduced some HELOCs based on AVMs and when we do we provide an appeal process that involves having the property appraised. We select the appraiser but a customer has requested our "approved" appraiser list before deciding to appeal. Since the customer cannot dictate which appraiser we use, I see no purpose in providing the list and am not aware of any requirement to do so.
