Good morning. I was wondering if I could get a feel for how many people have switched to the new Mortgage Servicing Disclosure. We have not made the switch yet and I am wondering if we are on an island by ourselves! Thanks!

We have not switched yet either and I'm not sure we even have a sample copy yet. Can anyone tell me by when the use of the new form becomes mandatory and/or where I can find a copy? Thanks for your help and have a great day.

Seems like we've been using since mid-January. I think the effective date was around that same time.

I didn't think it was a 'new' form so much as it had to be a stand alone document. It could no longer be on the back of the GFE/TIL. We have some banks using the old stand alone form and others going to the shorter version on their own letterhead. I believe either is correct.

I'll second TR's comments.

Compliance date was Jan 16, 2009.

We went from the "one-liner" on the GFE second page back to the stand alone revised version in January.

Thanks for the feedback! Just so I am crystal clear may I ask an additional question? The new model form is clearly significantly streamlined. Am I understanding correctly that the sections on Transfer Practices and Requirements, Complaint Resolution and Damages that were in the previous form are no longer required? Just seems a little odd. Sorry for such a basic question and thanks in advance for assisting the compliance challenged!

That's the way we read it. We took out all that additional info since it wasn't in the new model. But can someone point out where it says it has to be a stand alone form? We incorporated it into our multi-disclosure document, but not on the GFE. Is that sufficient?
