the healing is the worst part, imo (is it weird that I think it kinda feels good, for the most part, while it's getting done). The non-stop itching. Especially if it's on the larger side = way uncomfortable to sleep....
The one on my side I wanted to scratch and rip off every nights I tried to sleep. I just kept slathering it with lotion...

the healing didn't bother me in the least..it was the needles so close to bone..there just is NO MEAT THERE to cushion it. The outlines were the worst, the fill wasn't that bad. BUT...I had my one and only son all natural, so I can vouch that I do have a fairly high tolerance for pain... and it still hurt, I won't lie, but it was tolerable.

The two on either *chest* didn't hurt at all...more a mild irritation. the ones on my ankles had me white-knuckling the chair and wishing I had a bottle of Jack to dull the pain....my back is the location of my next one, but I don't think it will hurt as much as the ankles...and I DO have a very high tolerance to pain!

Yeah, my foot tattoo didn't really bother me either. The one on my chest probably hurt the most but I have a high tolerance for pain so it didn't really hurt that bad, to me. It did get uncomfortable the closer he got to my throat because of the nerve cluster there.

I plan on getting yet another tattoo I'm rather excited about this one. It's going to be on the back of my thighs. And its going to be corset laces.
